Q. How did you first get into wedding blogging?

A. I originally got into this wonderful industry when I set up a wedding planning consultancy in 2012, and I bought The Ebury Collection in 2013, I had never blogged before and was new to the whole thing and was not sure how to go about it originally, but after my first 3 blog posts I realized I enjoyed writing as much as I do reading and so it's become a real passion and hobby that I enjoy, I love that I am helping to inspire people for one of the most important days of their lives

Q. How would you describe your blogging style?

A. Because my blog is about helping people to plan their wedding day, it has to be factual and so I can't just write about anything, so it is always wedding related, however, I also want the reader to enjoy what their reading and I try to keep it nice and light and always include some lovely, quality imagery - which is an important element for anyone reading a wedding blog.

Q. What's your favorite thing about blogging?

A. I like that I am helping people to plan their wedding day, and I absolutely love working with talented industry suppliers, I really enjoy when I discover something unique for my readers too.

Q. How do you balance blogging with the rest of your life?

A. I have a post schedule and so I stick to that, most posts on my site are bi weekly, with the addition of the odd adhoc post. So this makes it easy to plan my writing time and ifI am working with a supplier or brand then I have time to think about and prepare what I am going to write and tend to prepare the content at the weekend, mostly on a Sunday. My best writing is when I write it on the day that I am posting, as sometimes when I try to write what I am going to say in advance I get 'writers block' so I mostly choose creativity over time saving!

Q. What are some of your favorite wedding boutiques/floral shops/venues?

A. Being a wedding blogger I am constantly introduced to something new, so this list changes monthly if not weekly! But at this present moment, my favourite wedding suppliers are probably:

Dress - Brides Do Good

Cake - Rosalind Miller Cakes

Flowers - Philipa Cradock

Q. What are your main goals this year?

A. To ensure the success of the additional Ebury Collection products and services.

Q. What inspires you?

A. Life inspires me, I take enjoyment and inspiration from whatever I am doing.

Q. What has been your best advertising strategy?

A. I don't advertise my blog, but I do interact with my followers on my social media platforms.

Q. If you could give one piece of advice to a bride-to-be, what would it be?

A. Choose your venue first as this sets the tone and style for everything else.

Q. What has been your biggest achievement so far?

A. Launching my two online shops: The Ebury Collection Home Interiors Store and The Ebury Collection Gift Shop
